Let me first begin by thanking all the participants from our lodge, and lodges around the district, more especially those brethren who took time from their other Masonic endeavors to assist us during our Master Mason’s degree on June 7th. It was a great day of Masonic fellowship and an excellent opportunity for some of our newly raised brethren to watch true craftsmen at work. I would also like to thank those brethren listed below, and those whom may not be recorded, who donated over the course of the last few months to our Habitat for Humanity project. It would appear as if my project was a little too ambitious as we were unable to reach our goal of $ 5,000.00. However we were able to raise almost $ 1,000.00 by the support of some of our most faithful brethren. Soon I will be inviting our HFH representative back to Cherrydale Lodge to present our donation, and schedule a time that we might donate some much needed labor to this great cause. Richard Travers, Travis Hilliard, F. Reed Brown, Frank Marcey, Hugh Falconer, Enoch Potter, Paul Sullivan, Travis Hilliard, Donald Strehle, Howard E. Clark, John B. Thompson, Harry Walch, John Frank, Danilo Medigovich, Earl A. Connors, E. B. Kirby, Arthur Garrison, Harold Newpher I also wish to inform you that at our stated communication in August, the Lodge officers and myself will be presenting some proposed changes to our by-laws, to include yearly dues and fees for degree work. I encourage our entire body concerned membership to attend lodge at that important time that your vote may be counted. In closing brethren I hope to see you at our upcoming events, and hope you have a safe and fruitful summer. |
